Over the next few months we will be building the site up and adding new items such as a ‘diary date’ section , news items, and anything else we think you might like to read about.
We never really had any serious plans to get out and play music again, but after nights sat in the music room singing and playing songs, we realised how much we actually missed it. So it’s true what they say about it being in your blood we suppose because here we are again!
We have gradually built up a new set of songs and are now taking gigs. By the end of this year, after Ruth’s finished a college course she’s doing and we have the summer over with, we’ll be actively looking for bookings around the folk and acoustic scene. We really are looking forward to playing and hope to see some familiar faces and some new faces along the way.
What’s been happening over the last few years? ..You ask…
Over the last couple of years, we have been really busy establishing ‘Powell Guitars’.
It’s going very well too ! We have reviews and interviews in the acoustic magazine coming up, workshops on guitar building around the country and so on..
